    Example: "I would like to nominate Isadore at the support center and Gabriel of desktop services for a Caught in the Act award. It was 11:30 and I was in the middle of a report that I needed to distribute to upper management by 2:00 pm when my computer froze up. I called the support center and explained my dire need for immediate help. Isadore took my information and provided me with a trouble ticket number and said she would make sure the techs were aware of my time constraints. I then received a call from Gabriel, who said he was finishing up with a customer, and come by my workspace in the next 20 minutes. Gabriel was at my door in 15 minutes and was able to get my computer working again and retrieve the file I had been working on. I can’t express my gratitude for both of them for making good on their word."

    Example: "Terry happened to overhear us as we were trying to figure out why the information we were inputting into the device to change the configuration wasn’t taking. Terry had come across a similar problem and told us the steps he took to solve it before he had to leave for a meeting. When he came back he asked if we’d had any success. We told him what we’d tried based on his advice, and that we were still having an issue. Terry did some quick research and came back with some additional suggestions, one of which worked and resolved the issue. We’d like to thank Terry for his help."

    Example: "Many thanks to Quigley for taking the time to talk to me about the issue I was having. Quigley didn’t just ask what wasn’t working; he was genuinely interested in understanding what I needed to get done, and what other things were impacted because of my issue. He was great at asking pertinent questions and getting to the heart of the issue. If he hadn’t taken time to understand what I needed to accomplish and had just fixed what I thought was the issue, I would have had another series of problems to resolve."
